Duty Day

Today is another nondescript duty day. I've been sleeping the morning away, but I've found that I keep on having... less than desirable dreams. My first dream was of me in Doumars, but they took forever with my stuff! They took so long, that I literally left after an hour of waiting. My second bad dream, well, I don't want to talk about it. I've got watch at four, and then that's it. Maybe in the second round, I can find some peaceful sleep. Maybe it's these chairs. :-p

Transformers is coming up. One of my friends said that the ship was going to be out to sea during the premiere week. Fortunately, he is dead wrong. I'll be here up until the 1st, and then I'll be gone till the 4th (morning). So, in essence, I'll be here for Transformers, and here for the Fourth of July. Anybody wanna come up to the beach with me for the Fourth?

Yesterday was a lot of fun. I had a bunch of fun hanging out with Em and watching that movie, which by the way, was awesome. Around 3, I got home, and started cleaning the upstairs bathroom. Now it's squeaky clean! 7 rolls around, and Emily comes over to help me finish the sloppy joe mix. It was tasty. 8 rolls around, and I went to the airport to pick up a cousin once-removed. He was actually pretty cool. I think I have a "tourist" to show around town. Aren't I lucky!?!?! He doesn't speak much english, however, he understands more than most would give him credit for. I hung out at my aunts house for about 2 hours, just sitting with my cousins, talking about what to do in Va, and what kind of things there were to do in Munich, Germany.
My apologies to the ones that wanted to hang out last night. I was freakishly busy, and once again, that certain someone that always wants to hang out during the worst of times, called again.

Let me see... Jon called... wanted to drink. What was that about big booms?

Walter called, wanted to party at his apartment.

Wendy called, wanted me to come back to the apartment for a party for the second time in a row. Yeah, no.

Kimberly wanted me to go to Sandbridge with her group of friends. I went to the Village Inn around midnight, just because they were all dressed up for prom, and it would be nice to see her. Let me see... a table full of underage girls, and I happen to sit in the only free chair, next to a gay guy. This in itself is not bad, but after i leave, i get a text from my friend Kimberly saying the guy thought I was "handsome". That explains the stares I was getting from him.
I saw an old friend at the Village Inn. I can't place her name... and it sounds so bad, but I don't think it really mattered. She was an acquaintance from KLMS, and I think she recognized me too, but once again, it really didn't matter.
That, in a nutshell, was my day. Hopefully, next week won't be so busy. I need a vacation.
