What your brain can't fill in, your heart does...

Well, today's been a rather interesting day! I went to work, took care of business, and got off around 9 oclock. After that, our entire department went out to go bowling. It was pretty sweet! I didnt do the greatest, but I still had a blast! It was actually pretty insightful; I had never really gotten to know many of my coworkers outside of work. Some of these guys really are different than when they are at work.

So, after bowling, I went home, took a shower, and played with the puppies. It was around that time that i found out exactly when Emily was going to come home. Right on. After this, i set out to clean my resident sushi guru's fish tank. I got a few tips from him on how to make sushi and all that stuff. I've been fairly interested in making it for a while, but never got around to doing it. This should be a pretty neat little hobby. Anyways, Mr. Lee needed some new items for his fish tank, so i ran out and got them from the various local pet shops. At Pet Paradise, I talked to Jon and Sheena, just seeing how they were doing and all that. They didnt have what i needed, so I then ran over to Animal Jungle. At the door, I met Carlos. He was almost a sort of a mentor for me, prior to my joining the Navy. We chatted for a few minutes, shared information about our cars, and then parted ways. He picked up some sort of Triggerfish that the store had incorrectly identified. Inside the store, I got what I needed (sorta), and on my way out, I stumbled into an old friend, Eddie. He's a mutual friend of Chase and I. He's a pretty cool kid; I've known him for the better part of 5 years now. Good stuff. He got my number; maybe he and Chase and myself will go out and see a movie or something. On my way back from the pet store, I got a nice lil phone call from the Emz. She just wanted to talk for a minute.
Back at the Sushi Shop, I finished with the tank, sat around for a little bit, and talked to Mr and Mrs Lee. They talked about this and that; just small talk, more or less. I got 2 rolls in return for helping out with the tank.

Back at home, I let the dogs out and ate my food. My lightbulbs for my Si had come in, so i installed them right away. They aren't too functional. Foggy weather would be the only situation in which they would be useful. I guess it's just to make my car look a little different. Thats all.

I got online and chatted with emily and amanda for a long while, we had some memorable conversations, with materials for more dicey inside jokes. What fun! HELP ED!!

After all this, I drove out to my big sis' house and watched 2 episodes of the first season of Stargate SG1. It was okay, i guess. I fell asleep halfway through the second episode.
Now I'm home, and about to end my day.
I guess i'm a bit tired to add witty lines and jokes throughout the blog to make it interesting, but I will end it with this: That AIM conversation was the highlight of my day. Thanks guys.

See ya tomorra!

P.S., the title to this blog isnt directed at anybody in particular. It's a quote from one of the episodes tonight. Not exactly something you want to tell your significant other, eh? Lol...
